Jamaica: Gangsters Die In Crash After Killing Man in St Ann

jamaicaobserver.com- Two suspected hit men are dead while a third is in hospital following the fatal shooting of a man at a popular food establishment in Discovery Bay, St Ann, on Saturday.

Sources at the police Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) at the St Ann’s Bay Police Station told the Jamaica Observer that at about 7:30 Saturday evening a man drove into the food establishment and exited his vehicle.

Minutes later a white Axio motor car with three men aboard drove onto the compound. One of the men came out of the car and opened fire on the patron, who was not identified up to press time yesterday. He was shot three times and taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

According to the police, while making their escape the driver of the Axio lost control of the vehicle which crashed into a truck.

Two of the occupants of the Axio, 27-year-old Ajohn McLoud, of a Flanker, St James, address and an unidentified male died from injuries they sustained in the collision.

The third occupant, Ricardo Gilbourne, 30 years old, of Cornwall Courts, St James, suffered multiple injuries and was admitted in hospital.

A firearm with five rounds was found inside the Axio motor car.

Detectives from the St Ann’s Bay CIB are investigating.
