PR – The Ministry of Infrastructure, Public Utilities, Civil Aviation and Transportation, wishes to inform the public of the temporary closure of road at Morne Longue Road in St. Andrew from Monday, October 20 to Friday, October 24, 2025, between the hours of 9:00 p.m. and 9:00 a.m. daily.
This closure is necessary to facilitate urgent repairs to the Acrow Panel Bridge. These works are essential to ensure public safety and the structural integrity of the bridge.
During this period, traffic management measures will be in place to minimize disruption. Motorists are advised to follow posted diversion signs and use alternative routes where possible. Pedestrians are also encouraged to exercise caution while traversing the area.
The Ministry of Infrastructure apologizes for any inconvenience and anticipates the cooperation of the public in this regard.
