Swimmers, Collymore And Gresham, To Participate In Pan American Games, Santiago 2023

PR –  Tilly Collymore and Zackary Gresham depart tomorrow, 17th October, to participate in the XIX Santiago 2023 Pan American Games, Swimming Championships in Chile.  The duo will be accompanied by Coach Gerson Escobar. They form part of a contingent of athletes from Track and Field and Boxing among the Grenada Olympic Committee’s selections.

Both athletes are among several excellent competitive national swimmers and have been competing in several regional and world swimming competitions, which include Commonwealth Games and World Aquatics Junior and Senior Swimming Championships. 

Collymore is expected to compete in the 200m, 100m and 50m Freestyle, while Gresham is expected to compete in the 100m Butterfly, 100m Backstroke, 50m Freestyle and the 200m Individual Medley.

The two have been engaged in training in preparation for the event and the Grenada Amateur Swimming Association expects great performances, and commendable representation from both swimmers. 

The swimming association further extends its best wishes to the entire contingent of athletes and officials throughout their journey to Santiago, and likewise, their participation in the various disciplines.
