SP’s International Trading Limited Presents Its First Music Fair

PR – SP’s International Trading Limited in collaboration with the  Ministry of Education presents its first Music Fair at the Grenada Trade Center on April  24th, 2024, in efforts to support the introduction of a music program in schools in  Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique.

The event aims to provide an interactive experience to the nation’s students by featuring  interactive demonstrations of various musical instruments, highlighting the history of  music, various career paths, and its impact on some of Grenada’s most successful  musicians.

Our nation is rich with musical talent, mostly undiscovered among our children. The  foundation was laid, and the opportunity is present to harness and unearth music  professionals, directors, engineers, among the long list of careers our children can enjoy; we want to give them a holistic education,” replied Ms. Selisha Paul, CEO of SP’s when  asked why it was necessary to execute such an event. “A team from the CASIO brand will  also be present at the Music Fair, as they remain committed to providing solutions to  social issues based on their corporate creed of Creativity and Contribution.” she  continued.

To date, an invitation has been extended to all schools to attend, and the public is  encouraged to register their interest through a wait list that will soon be made available.

According to Mr. Jeremiah, Chief Education Officer at the Ministry of Education, “This  initiative that the MOE is partnering with SP’s International is one of the most revolutionary  undertakings. It has the potential to open new and creative doors for our students and  young people, who can now begin to appreciate that music and the creative arts are  avenues through which they can earn a living and make their contributions to the  development of Grenada and the Caribbean civilization.”
