Public Service Week Activities Commence With Inspirational Church Service

PR – Public Service Week began with an inspiring  service at Christ the King Anglican Church and a motivational address by Father Thomas  Mayers, who set a positive tone for activities that continue throughout the month.

Father Mayers encouraged public servants to continue providing their services with  dedication and commitment.

Their roles, he said, are vital and important and their work impacts on people in the  community.

Among those attending the service were staff of the Ministry of Carriacou and Petite  Martinique Affairs and Local Government, who were recognized for their significant  contributions to public service.

The next Public Service Month event is a symposium, at the Mermaid Beach Hotel, focusing  on men’s health.

The series of activities during the week, and for Public Service Month, is an opportunity to  honour the hard work and dedication of public servants who strive to improve the lives of  Carriacou and Petite Martinique residents.

The Ministry of Carriacou and Petite Martinique Affairs and Local Government is proud to  recognize and celebrate the invaluable contributions of its staff during this special month.
