Minister Andrews Helping To Make The Learning Environment More Comfortable

PR  – Another promise to schools in Carriacou and Petite Martinique, made by Minister for Carriacou and Petite Martinique Affairs and Local Government, Hon. Tevin Andrews, has been fulfilled.

Following a period of heatwave experienced, especially during the months of September and October, Minister Andrews pledged to assist schools with the installation of air-conditioning units.

Since then, new air-conditioning units have been secured and now are being installed. The first installation was done at Bishop’s College.

According to Minister Andrews, who is also the Member of Parliament for Carriacou and Petite Martinique, learning must take place in a comfortable environment.

Earlier this year, the Harvey Vale Preprimary School and L’Esterre Preprimary School were the recipients of refrigerators from Minister Andrews, while Our Lady of The Rosary Catholic School received a washing machine.
