GHTA Announces Member Exclusive Travel Protection Plan Administered by AeroMD

PR –  The Grenada Hotel and Tourism Association (GHTA) is pleased to announce a new partnership with AeroMD R.E.M.O.T.E. Travel (ART), a division of AeroMD to offer travel insurance.

AeroMD, established in 2014, has serviced the Caribbean with thousands of lifesaving air and ground medical transports as well as provided critical disaster relief assistance post hurricane’s Irma, Maria, and Dorian. ART, a new and innovative travel insurance product, was developed exclusively for the Caribbean hotel and resort sector to offer their guests tranquility during their stay.

Allan Adler, VP of Business Development for AeroMD cited “It’s our honor to partner with the GHTA on this novel product. We couldn’t imagine a better place or team to be working with to introduce this new opportunity.” ART is an affordable travel insurance product which GHTA members can enlist and offer their guests. Adler went on to say, “we value the relationship we’ve developed with Arlene Friday, GHTA CEO and share her vision of promoting and creating new pathways for Grenada to grow its tourism sector, especially as it celebrates its 50th year of Independence.”

Ms. Arlene Friday stated, “As the CEO of GHTA, I am proud to say that this collaboration reflects our commitment to providing comprehensive and reliable solutions that enhance the visitors’ experience. With this travel insurance, we aim to provide peace of mind, ensuring that our visitors can explore the beautiful island of Grenada with confidence, knowing that they are protected against unforeseen circumstances. We are excited to embark on this journey with AeroMD to offer our members and visitors more added value.” She also added, “Hotels and other tourism related businesses that are not currently offering opt-in traveler insurance to further support their cancellation policies are missing an opportunity to generate more business, as consumers are increasingly looking for added assurances.”

ART, is officially available through the GHTA starting February 2024. Contact the Grenada Hotel and Tourism Association (GHTA) directly at for additional information.
