Clubs within the ambit of the Grenada Football Association (GFA) was called out to an extra-ordinary meeting last Saturday, where the emphasis was the displacement of five members of the executive.
This was due to a decision taken by the Council on 6th April 2019, following a move by the five members who had voted at the executive level to suspend President of the association, Cheney Joseph.
According to reports the five filed an injunction in the Court against their suspension on the grounds of an illegal process.
The Court had instructed that the GFA should seek to settle the matter and that the motion considered by the General Council on April 6, 2019 to be reviewed.
At Saturday’s meeting a motion was moved to have the five (5) suspended Executive members reinstated.
The motion was then voted on, moving in favor of the suspended members and as of Saturday June 22 2019, the Grenada Football Association Executive returned to normal.
