CDC To Recommend Some Vaccinated People Wear Masks Indoors: Report

(NEW YORK POST) – The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is expected to issue new guidelines Tuesday that recommend fully vaccinated people wear face masks again in some indoor settings, according to a report.

The new guidance would mark a change of course for the agency after it gave the green light in May for vaccinated people to ditch their masks, the New York Times reported.

The change comes amid the spread of the highly contagious Delta variant, which has driven surges across the country and now comprises around 83 percent of cases nationwide, according to the CDC.
