Blue Bubbles Launches “Gold Spikes Champion Partnership Initiative” To Empower Junior Athletes

PR – Blue Bubbles has announced the launch of its newest community-driven program — the  Gold Spikes Champion Partnership Initiative — an inspiring effort to identify, nurture, and reward  Grenada’s next generation of athletic champions.

The official launch takes place Friday, November 7 at 2:00 p.m. at the Kirani James Athletic Stadium,  (adjacent to the Blue Bubbles Administrative Office) where partners, students, teachers, and  community supporters will gather to celebrate the partnership between Blue Bubbles, local schools,  and sponsors.

According to Leon Francis, CEO of Blue Bubbles, the initiative “goes beyond sponsorship — it’s a  partnership for excellence.”

“At Blue Bubbles, we believe in championing potential from a young age,” Francis said. “The Gold  Spikes program is about giving our junior athletes the encouragement and tools they need to dream  big and perform even bigger.”

The initiative focuses on junior athletes who excel in track and field — mainly sprinters and distance  runners . Selected athletes will be recognized as Gold Spikes Champions, receiving a Champion’s Bag filled with athletic essentials, sponsored gear, and hydration kits.

Champs on the national level (National sports meet, Intercol, Carefta, Parish Sports etc.) will be  rewarded with a pair of Track Spikes along with their Champions Bag. Record-breaking athletes will  be further honored with a custom pair of symbolic golden track spikes – a mark of distinction  designed to motivate continued excellence.

“Junior sports build more than athletes — they build character, teamwork, and national pride,”  Francis added. “That’s what we want to invest in.”

Blue Bubbles says its commitment extends beyond providing gear and recognition. The company  partners with schools it has long supported, ensuring sustained engagement, mentorship, and  growth.

“We know that many young athletes don’t have access to quality gear or mentorship,” Francis  explained. “Blue Bubbles wants to help close that gap and give every junior athlete a fair chance.”

The Gold Spikes program underscores the company’s corporate mission to build stronger  communities through youth development, teamwork, and pride in performance.
