PR – The National Water and Sewerage Authority (NAWASA) advises consumers served by the Laura Water System of a scheduled interruption in water supply from 9:00 p.m. today Thursday, October 16th to 5:00 a.m. on Friday, October 17th, 2025.
This interruption will affect consumers in the following areas: Westerhall, Westerhall Point, Westerhall Heights, Fort Jeudy, Petite Bacaye, Calivigny, and surrounding communities in the parishes of St. George and St. David.
Please note that while the system will be reopened at 5:00 a.m., some consumers particularly those in high-elevation areas may experience a delay of up to two (2) hours before full water service is restored.
NAWASA apologizes for any inconvenience caused and thanks all affected consumers for their patience and understanding as we continue to work towards providing a safe, reliable, and adequate water supply to all.
