PR – The National Water and Sewerage Authority (NAWASA) advises consumers served by the Concord Water Treatment Plant that in order to facilitate system maintenance, they will experience an interruption in water supply between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. today, Thursday, November 16th, 2023.
The Concord Water System serves: Concord, Grand Mal, Brizan, Happy Hill, Beausejour, Cherry Hill, The Stadium, River Road, Mt. Gay & the entire Town of St. George
Consumers are therefore encouraged to collect and store water in clean, covered containers, prior to the scheduled interruption in supply.
Please also advised that while the network being reopened at 6:00p.m., consumers in elevated areas may receive a supply within two hours thereafter.
NAWASA apologizes for any inconveniences caused as a result, and thanks consumers for their patience as we work toward the delivery of a safe, adequate, and reliable water supply.
