73-Y-O American Citizen Dies In Dominica While Snorkelling – Reports

(CMC) – Police have confirmed that a 73-year-old American visitor died after he had gone snorkelling with his wife and others at Champagne Beach in Pointe Michel, a small town on the southwest coast of Dominica over the weekend.

The authorities said that Howard Taylor, who was visiting the island as a cruise ship passenger, went snorkelling when his body was found floating in the sea.

Taylor was rushed to the Accident and Emergency Department of the Dominica China Friendship Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The police said that an investigation has since been launched into the tragedy that occurred.
