PR – The National Water and Sewerage Authority (NAWASA), advises consumers from Springs, Cafe, Dixee, Defoo, Woodlands and surrounding communities in the parish of St. George that in order to facilitate repairs to a damaged water main, they will experience an interruption in water supply between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. today, Monday, September 18th, 2023.
Consumers are therefore encouraged to collect and store water in clean, covered containers, prior to the scheduled interruption in supply.
Please also note that while the network will be reopened at 6:00 p.m.., consumers in elevated areas may receive a supply within two hours thereafter.
NAWASA apologizes for any inconveniences caused as a result, thanks consumers for their patience as we work toward the delivery of a safe, adequate and reliable water supply.
