New Self-Checked Blood Pressure Machine Installed

PR  – The public will now benefit from a self-check blood pressure machine installed at the Tyrrell Bay Port Passenger Terminal in Carriacou. The machine, which provides a convenient and an easily accessible means for individuals to take charge of their health and well-being, was made available in a collaborative effort between the Ministry of Carriacou and Petite Martinique Affairs and Local Government and the Ministry of Health. 

Community Health Nurse Dannette Blair-St. Bernard, in a comment, emphasized the vital importance of regularly checking and monitoring blood pressure, particularly in the face of rising temperatures. 

Assistant to Port Manager Dexter Leggard, who also commented, expressed sincere gratitude for the joint ministerial endeavor that resulted in the securing of the blood pressure machine for the Tyrrell Bay Port, and emphasized the commitment of staff at the terminal to promoting health and safety within the community.
