(TRINIDAD GUARDIAN) – A Standard Five teacher has been charged with a sexual offence against one of his students. Police arrested the 47-year-old teacher who works at a primary school in Chaguanas at the school on Wednesday. He was charged by WPC Rogers-Flemming, with one count of sexual touching of a child.
The offence was allegedly committed against the 11-year-old victim after she attended lessons at his home on a date unknown during the period April 30 and July 1. He allegedly lured the child into his bedroom, removed her clothing and massaged her. The incident was reported to the police last month.
