PR – The National Water and Sewerage Authority (NAWASA), advises consumers in Snug Corner, Beaulieu, Mt. Gay through to River Road and surrounding communities in the parish of St. George that they will experience an interruption in water supply, between the hours of 10:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. today Wednesday, July 12th, 2023.
Consumers are therefore encouraged to collect and store water in clean, covered containers, prior to the schedule interruption in supply.
Please also be advised that while the network will be reopened at 4:00 p.m., consumers in elevated areas may receive a supply within two hours thereafter.
Motorists are also advised that as a result of the work, there may be traffic delays in the vicinity of Belle Vue gap.
NAWASA apologizes for any inconveniences likely to be caused and thanks consumers for their patience as we work towards the delivery of a safe, adequate and reliable water supply.
