PR – The National Water and Sewerage Authority (NAWASA), advises consumers in Mt. Rush and surrounding communities in the parish of St. George that the current interruption in water supply is due to a damaged water main.
Restoration is anticipated by 2:00 p.m. today Tuesday, July 11th, 2023.
Consumers are therefore encouraged to utilize their stored supply, taking into consideration the needs of their families and pets.
Please also be advised that while the network will be reopened at 2:00 p.m., consumers in elevated areas may receive a supply within two hours thereafter.
NAWASA apologizes for any inconveniences likely to be caused and thanks consumers for their patience as we work towards the delivery of a safe, adequate and reliable water supply.
