PR – The National Water and Sewerage Authority (NAWASA), advises consumers served by the Les Avocat Water System that in order to facilitate network maintenance, they will experience an interruption in water supply between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. today Tuesday June 20th, 2023.
Les Avocat Water System serves: Beaton, Bacolet, Laura, Deha, Windsor Forest, Red Gate, La Femme, Charlotte Vale, Apsley, Perdmontemps, Mt. Airy, Bay Gardens, St. Paul’s, La Borie, Parade, Mt. Parnassus
Consumers are therefore encouraged to collect and store water in clean, covered containers, prior to the scheduled interruption in supply.
Please also be advised that while the network will be reopened at 5:00 p.m., consumers in elevated areas may receive a supply within two hours thereafter.
NAWASA apologizes for any inconvenience likely to be caused as a result and thanks consumers for their patience as we work toward the delivery of a safe, adequate and reliable water supply.
