PR – Ron Mitchell, 28 years, old, Helper of Grand Lett, St. Andrew, was arrested and charged for the offence of Rape, in connection with the incident which allegedly occurred on 30th April, 2023, at Grand Lett, St. Andrew.
Mr. Mitchell, who had been evading police, was recently apprehended. He was jointly charged with Tyron Forteau, 21 years old, Timon Daniel St. Clair, 22 years old, Warehouse Attendant, Trevon Robertson, 19 years old, Unemployed and two (2) juveniles, who were all previously charged for the offence and remanded to custody.
Additionally, Ron Mitchell was charged for the following offences: three (3) counts of Robbery with Violence, two (2) counts of Damage to Property, two (2) counts of Stealing, a second count of Rape, and Indecent Assault. The charges were laid against Mr. Mitchell following investigations into several complaints made to the police.
Mr. Mitchell appeared at the Grenville Magistrate’s Court, today Tuesday 23rd May 2023, and was remanded to His Majesty’s Prison. He will be brought back to court on Friday 26th May along with his co-accused.
