PR – The Grenada Football Association (GFA) received a large shipment of footballs compliments the Confederation of African Football (CAF). Distribution to GFA affiliates has already begun with a number of clubs receiving their packages at the Club Management Workshop held at Royalton Grenada.
This donation comes on the heels of a meeting between the parties to discuss a collaboration for the development of football.
Speaking before the distribution, GFA President Marlon Glean said, “The objective was to get footballs for the clubs as soon as possible as they prepare for the upcoming season. I hope they will be utilized to the fullest.”
President Glean further thanked the President of CAF, Patrice Motsepe and General Secretary Veron Mosengo Omba for the, “generous donation of quality balls.”
President Glean is looking forward to a deepening of the partnership between CAF and the GFA to further develop football in Grenada.
