Anderson Peters Debuts New Shoes For His New Season

PR – The 2023 Wanda Diamond League season will start in Doha this Friday, May 05th and the reigning World Champion (javelin men) Anderson Peters will begin his campaign ahead of a defence of his World Title in Budapest in August.

When Anderson takes to the field on Friday, he will be wearing a pair of customised Adizero Adidas spikes featuring a replica of the Grenada flag and the catchphrase ‘Respect D Nutmeg’. The shoes will be featured throughout the season and is a major accomplishment for the two-time World Champion and is of significance also for the country he represents. Anderson Peters has carried the hopes and provided glory to his country through his board, powerful shoulders, now he is doing so, literally on his feet, with the deepening of the partnership between Anderson and Adidas expected to bring even more unique branding opportunities.

The Doha Meet features an impressive field that includes Neeraj Chopra of India – the reigning Olympic Champ, Keshorn Walcott of Trinidad and Tobago – a former Olympic Champion and Jakub Vadlejch of the Czech Republic who won the silver medal at the 2020 Olympics.
