PR -The National Water and Sewerage Authority (NAWASA), advises consumers served by the Petite Martinique Desalination Plant that the current interruption in water supply is due to a system malfunction.
Our technical team is currently working to resolve the issue however based on initial assessment, a definitive timeline for restoration of supply cannot be provided at this time.
Consumers are therefore encouraged to utilize their stored supply, taking into consideration the needs of their family and pets.
Please also note that NAWASA commits, to reopening the distribution network for a period of three hours, between 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. tonight, Thursday, April 20th, 2023, to allow customers to refill their storage containers.
The Authority apologizes for any inconveniences likely to be caused as a result thank consumers for their patience as we work towards the delivery of a safe, adequate and reliable water supply.
