PR – The Ministry of Health, Wellness, and Religious Affairs (MOHWARA) advises that its regular telephone lines and internet at the Princess Alice Hospital at Mirabeau, St. Andrew are temporarily out of service.
The disruption occurred on Monday, 10 April 2023, after a portion of the Old Church in Grenville, St. Andrew had fallen and disrupted fiber-optic cables that are linked to the hospital services.
The Ministry and staff at the hospital are committed to providing quality service to clients, and as such is working with service providers to restore telephone and internet services as soon as possible.
The Ministry apologises for any inconvenience this disruption may have caused and will advise the public once telephone lines are restored.
