Police are actively investigating circumstances leading to the death of Jonathon Richards, 30 years old, Unemployed of River Lane, Gouyave, St. John.
About 6:58 p.m., yesterday March 21, 2023, police received reports of gunshots being fired at Upper Depradine Street (Gun Battle) Gouyave, St. John.
Subsequently, Jonathon Richards, who sustained several injuries (believed to be gunshots) was rushed to the General Hospital. He was pronounced dead on arrival.
Investigations into the matter are ongoing. A post-mortem will be conducted to determine the cause of death.
