PR – The two unbeaten teams in the tournament, St. David and St. Andrew will face off against in other in the final of the GCA Super50 Cup on Wednesday March 15, 2023, at the La Sagesse Playing Field.
St. Andrew the beaten finalist registered victory against St. Mark and St. Patrick in the preliminary round and had the better of Carriacou in the second semi-final to book their spot in the finals.
St. David the defending champions path to the finals saw them overcome St. George and Carriacou in the preliminary round and won comfortably against St. Mark in the semifinal.
The final will feature some of our exciting and most promising cricketers’ youth cricketers, the tournament leading runs scorers Jerel Jeremiah (St Andrew) and Kirtsen Mitchell (St. David) will be looking to continue their prolific form in the tournament to contribute to victory for their teams in the final.
The final will be played under the lights at La Sagesse in a historic first with the start time carded for 1:00 p.m. and is expected to end at 8:00 p.m.
The match will be streamed live on the social media accounts of the Grenada Cricket Association.
