PR – The National Water and Sewerage Authority (NAWASA), advises consumers in the Town of Grenville, Canal Road and surrounding communities in the parish of St. Andrew that in order to facilitate repairs to a damaged water main, they will experience an interruption in supply between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. today, Monday February 27th, 2023.
Consumers are therefore encouraged to collect and store water in clean, covered containers, prior to the scheduled interruption in supply.
Please also be advised that while the network will be reopened by 11:00 p.m., consumers in elevated areas may receive a supply within two hours thereafter.
As result of the work, there will be interruptions in the flow of traffic along Ben Jones Street, in the vicinity of the Blast and FLOW. Motorists are therefore encouraged to utilize alternative routes to get to their various destinations.
NAWASA apologizes for any inconveniences likely to be caused and thanks consumers for their patience as we work towards the delivery of a safe, adequate and reliable water supply.
