PR – Forecasters at the Meteorological Office at the Maurice Bishop International Airport have updated that the shear line traversed the State of Grenada overnight and trailing moisture and instability will trigger occasionally cloudy and showery conditions Thursday. The band of moisture trailing the shearline will continue to move westward. Due to this, the state is expected to experience partly cloudy conditions with a few light, to moderate showers.
The flood warning has been discontinued but coastal waters are projected to remain agitated with waves extending to 9 feet in above normal North Easterly to Easterly swells.
NaDMA encourages marine operators and sea users to be cautious.
