PR – The Royal Grenada Police Force confirms the occurrence of a police involved shooting incident during the early hours of Wednesday 28th December, 2022, at Beaulieu, St. George from which a man got injured.
Police were in the process of apprehending the individual, who was wanted for questioning in connection with the offence of Robbery with Violence, resulting in him receiving a gunshot wound to his hip. He was immediately transported to the General Hospital where he is currently warded as a patient.
Investigations into the matter are ongoing. We will give updates as the matter unfolds.
