(JAMAICA OBSERVER) – A pastor who was shot in a brazen mid-afternoon attack in Portmore, St Catherine on Monday, has succumbed to his injuries.
The deceased has been identified as Lynval Lewis, pastor at the Spanish Town Tabernacle and Greater Portmore Tabernacle.
According to reports, Lewis was attacked by a gunman who opened fire at him while he was driving from his house in Greater Portmore. The attacker then fled the scene.
Lewis was rushed to the hospital where he died while undergoing treatment.
Investigations are ongoing.
