In response to the tragic news of his passing, there was an outpouring of shock and sadness over social media by relatives and friends.
Rampersad, of Felicity, Chaguanas, was employed with Sampson Transport Company Ltd.
Initial police reports said around 6.30 pm he was driving a truck towing a 40ft container on a trailer on the compound of F.C.W Limited at Rajkumar Trace, Mission Road, Freeport.
