PR – The expansion and rehabilitation of the Belair Road, which leads to the Princess Royal Hospital, will be one of the top infrastructure projects in Carriacou for 2023, according to Minister for Carriacou and Petite Martinique Affairs and Local Government, Hon. Tevin Andrews.
The Minister, addressing a recently held townhall meeting, said the project is important as the hospital is the lone one on the island.
Meanwhile, the Public Works Division within the Ministry of Carriacou and Petite Martinique Affairs and Local Government is busy completing a number of projects on the island.
They include 200ft of concrete pavement in the Windward area, and 300 concrete pavement and drains at Grand Bay-Top Hill Back Road. In addition, also recently started were 71ft of concrete pavement and drains in the Craigston area, while the Brunswick/Prospect Hall project is now completed.
