(JAMAICA OBSERVER) – Thousands of Instagram users worldwide have been experiencing issues with the platform. According to numerous international news outlets, scores of users either had their accounts blocked or suspended.
In a tweet on Monday, the page belonging to Instagram’s public relations team said they were aware of the issues and were working to have them sorted.
“We’re aware that some of you are having issues accessing your Instagram account. We’re looking into it and apologise for the inconvenience,” the tweet read.
According to an article from the New York Post, nearly 7,000 users of Instagram were impacted by the outage. The glitch is reportedly affecting mostly high-profile Instagram account holders.
