PR – The National Water and Sewerage Authority (NAWASA) advises consumers in Top Hill, Mt. Rose, River Sallee, Morne Fendue, Rose Hill, La Taste, Plains and surrounding communities, that the current interruption in water supply is due to a damaged water main.
Restoration is anticipated by 2:00p.m. today Wednesday August 24th, 2022.
Consumers are therefore encouraged to utilize their stored supply, taking into consideration the needs of their family and pets.
Please also be advised that although the network will be reopened at 2:00 p.m., consumers in elevated areas may receive their supply within two (2) hours thereafter.
The Authority apologizes for any inconveniences caused and thanks consumers for their patience as we work towards the delivery of a safe, adequate and reliable water supply.
