PR – Prime Minister, Dr. the Right Honourable Keith Mitchell, will address the nation on Thursday, March 17 at 8:00 p.m.
Dr. Mitchell is expected to talk about recovery in the various economic sectors and the potential impact of the current war in Ukraine as this is likely to slow economic recovery and negatively affect global energy and wheat prices, with ripple effects across other sectors.
The Prime Minister is also expected to deliver a message of hope despite the ongoing challenges facing the country.
Dr. Mitchell who is also the Minister for Youth Development is expected to touch on recent incidents of youth violence and the role of the Grenadian community in curbing this worrying trend.
The return of Spicemas in 2022, after a two-year hiatus, is also likely to be one of the topics covered by Dr. Mitchell.
The national address will be broadcast on GIS TV Channel 22 and all other radio and television stations and social media platforms at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday.
