PR – On Wednesday 16th February 2022 officers attached to the Drug Squad, intercepted a white and black Suzuki Escudo registration number PAC 115 along the Vendomme Public Road, St. George.
A search was conducted which led to the discovery of a blue shopping bag in the vehicle containing five ( 5) packages of cannabis totaling nine (9) pounds with an estimated street value of $20,412.00ecc dollars.
Nazim Bain, 24 years, Construction Worker and Algernon Peters, 57 years, Abattoir Manager both of Darbeau, St. George were arrested and charged for Trafficking in a Controlled Drug.
They were granted bail in the sum of $8,000.00 with one surety each. The matter adjourned until 6th April 2022.
