PR – The GFA Premier League is scheduled to resume this Saturday January 29 at the Kirani James Athletics Stadium with all matches played there for that round. There are six rounds remaining in the 2021 Competition with reigning Champs Paradise International FCI at the top of the table on 31 points. A close second is Hurricanes SC on the same points but a lesser goal difference of 27. In third place is Hard Rock on 21 points.

The GFA advises that all COVID protocols will be in place at matches and teams will be required to provide the names and information for each player and staff beforehand for contact tracing purposes.
It must be noted that Premier League matches will not have any spectators as advised by the Ministry of Health to help minimize the spread of the COVID 19 virus. The GFA is seeking the kind cooperation of the clubs and general public in ensuring that this mandate is strictly followed.
