PR – As all of Grenada gets into the Christmas spirit this week, the Rotary Club of Grenada announces extended opening hours for its holiday event, Christmas at the Point over the long weekend.
The holiday light viewing, which is held at Quarantine Point Recreational Park, will open from Wednesday 22nd December through Monday 27th December after which the light display will resume on Wednesday 29th December. The park will also stay open longer nightly, closing at midnight.
“With the long weekend and due to public demand, the Club is extending the park opening days and hours allowing patrons more time to enjoy the holiday light display with family and friends. Typically, the park is closed on Mondays, however, with the bank holiday, we are extending the holiday cheer to on Monday 27th December”, said Club President, Alphonsus Daniel.
Over the Christmas week and weekend, visitors to Christmas at the Point can expect to be wowed with the Monica Benoit Magical Wonderland of Lights. Patrons can also anticipate a much-welcomed line up of activities including live musical performances by top artists; Holiday Boutique Store featuring local, handmade crafts; nightly movies; fully stocked bar; Santa in Santa’s Grotto; Snow Zone; Candyland; picnic zones; drink and food specials and so much more.
Quarantine Point offers a safe space for patrons to spend with family and truly celebrate the spirit of the season.
