Guyana Officials Say Brain Bleed Caused Death Of Boy Who Took Pfizer Vaccine

(RADIO JAMAICA NEWS ONLINE) – Guyana’s Ministry of Health on Wednesday revealed that a 13-year-old school boy who passed away on Monday, a few hours after receiving a second dose of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine, died because of bleeding in his brain.

In a statement, the ministry said the autopsy found the cause of Joshua Henry’s death was a ruptured cerebral aneurysm.

The ministry said the aneurysm was a pre-existing condition.

Health Minister Dr. Frank Anthony reiterated that the vaccines used to combat the coronavirus are safe since they have undergone rigorous testing.
