PR – The National Water and Sewerage Authority (NAWASA), advises consum ers in Snell Hall, Chantimelle, Mt. Rich, Mt. Rose, Hermitage River Sallee and surrounding areas in the parish of St. Patrick and Tivoli, La Potrie, Conference, Pearls and surrounding communities in the parish of St. Andrew that the current interruption in water supply is due to a damaged 12 inch main.
Restoration is anticipated by 4:00 p.m. Tuesday August 31st, 2021.
Consumers are therefore encouraged to utilize their stored supply, taking into consideration the needs of their family and pets.
Please also be advised that although the system will be reopened at 4:00 p.m.; consumers in elevated areas, may receive their supply within two (2) hours after the scheduled restoration period.
The Authority apologizes for any inconveniences caused and thanks con sumers for their patience as we work towards the delivery of a safe, ade quate and reliable water supply.
