PR – The National Water and Sewerage Authority (NAWASA) advises consumers served by the following water systems that the interruption in their water supply due to dam blockage as a result of the heavy rains.
Mirabeau: Sabb, Byelands, Mirabeau, Mt. Horne, Rose Mont, St. Cloud’s, Bal thazar, Grand Bras, Forde, Telescope, St. Mary’s, Rivulet Lane, Soubise, Cook Hill, The Villa, Mt. Sealy, Paraclete, Santoo Pee Street, Columba & the entire town of Grenville.
Mt. Horne: Mt. Horne, Paradise, Dunfermline, Grace Bakery, Pearls, Canal Road, La Fillette, Seamoon.
Mt. Reuil: Parts of Snell Hall, Parts of Madey’s, La Fortune, Levera, Town of Sauteurs including High Street, Mt. Craven, Parts of Mt. Rodney
Peggy Whim: Peggy’s Whim, Hermitage, River Sallee, Conference, Tivoli, Chantimelle, Sauteurs, Mt. Rose, Bathway, Rose Hill, Carrierre, St. John’s, Sa maritain
Due to the nature of the challenge, a timeline for restoration of water supply cannot be provided and other systems may be added without prior notice.
Consumers are therefore encouraged to utilize their stored supply, taking in to consideration the immediate needs of their families and pets.
