PR – The Grenada Athletic Association host the 2021 National Athletic Championships on Saturday 02nd April, 2021 at the Kirani James Athletic Stadium from 10: 00 am.
The National Athletic Championship is an annual event where athletes of the top clubs and schools compete for excellence, showcase their athletic talent and prepare for other regional and international meets. However, in 2020, the COVID-19 concerns led to the cancellation of the meet and subsequent regional and international competitions.
The 2021 version of the meet are being held under the COVID protocols of the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Sports. As a result, spectators will NOT be admitted to enter the stadium to witness the event. Henceforth, the meet will be streamed live via the Association’s Facebook page.
