Six New Players Gets Called Up for Grenada

PR – The Grenada Football Association (GFA) Senior Men’s Nation Team (SMNT) today announced the names of six (6) players who will be join the squad for the match Grenada verses US Virgin Island on Tuesday 30th March at the Kirani James Athletes Stadium ( KJAS).

These players are Benjamin Ettienne; Keishon Clarke; Joshua Issaac; Rahim Griffith; Steffon Abraham and DeAndre Smith.

They will replace Tyrone Sterling, Kraig Noel McLoad, Ricky Modeste, Antonio German, Alex McQueen and Kairo Mitchell.

As per a previous agreement with players due to ongoing effects of covid 19 and related travel restrictions the following players have been returned to their clubs.

“These are difficult times for football, but this situation has also provided an opportunity to integrate some of our most promising youth players within the Senior Men National Team which will provide an opportunity for them to experience firsthand the required standard at the Senior Men National Team level. This is also part of our long-term commitment to advancing youth within the program moving forward. We look forward to having them join us for our second World Cup Qualifier match versus US Virgin Island” says Michael Findlay, Head Coach, Grenada Senior Men National Team.
