The Ministry of Health advises all frontline service providers on the sister isles of Carriacou and Petite Martinique, that they can receive their (COVID-19) vaccine at the Princess Royal Hospital in Carriacou on Wednesday 24 February, 2021, from 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Eligible frontline personnel include:
- Law enforcement officers, (Police, Customs and Immigration),
- Health wardens and contact tracers,
- Port/Dock workers
- Airport workers,
- Hotel and guest house employees, and
- Certified Taxi operators
Interested workers must present a valid company photo ID or an official ID inclusive of NIS, driver’s license or passport. Provision has also been made for Seafarers from the sister-isles, who are interested in receiving the vaccine to present themselves to be vaccinated.
In an effort to ensure that the process runs smoothly, interested persons are encouraged to pre-register from 10:00 a.m. at the hospital.
The Ministry of Health advises that all COVID-19 health and safety protocols MUST be observed for the duration of the process. The national vaccination process will be conducted on a first-come, first-served basis.
