PR – In observance of Valentine’s Day, the K-Kids Club of St. Andrew’s R.C. School, presented to the teachers, a token of appreciation for services rendered during the school year.
All 24 teachers of the institution, on Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2021, were gifted with a Kiwanian bag filled with chocolates, hand sanitizers, note pads, pens, and bookmarks. The students were joined by some members of the parent club, Kiwanis Club of St. Andrew.
K-Kids, is an offshoot of the Kiwanis Club of St. Andrew, sponsored two years ago, making it the first and only club of its kind on island, thus far. A total of 18 students, from ages 6 to 12, contribute to the cause of ensuring that the Kiwanian spirit is active, even in the young ones.
“You have never lived until you give service to humanity.” This was the statement made by President of Kiwanis Club of St. Andrew, Finley Jeffrey, as he emphasized the club’s formula “Live it, Love it, Share It!, stating that K-Kids are the future Kiwanians who will be “serving the children of the world”.
