PR – The National Water and Sewerage Authority (NAWASA) wishes to advise consumers served by the Mirabeau Water System that due to emergency repairs to a damaged water main, their water supply will be interrupted at 1:00 p.m. today Monday February 15th, 2021.
Restoration of supply is anticipated by 10:00 p.m. on Monday February 15th, 2021.
Affected Consumers: Sabb, Byelands, Mirabeau, Mt. Horne, Rose Mont, St. Cloud’s, Balthazar, Grand Bras, Forde, Telescope, St. Mary’s, Rivulet Lane, Soubise, Cook Hill, The Villa, Mt. Sealy, Paraclete, Santoo Pee Street, Columba & the entire town of Grenville.
Consumers are encouraged to collect and store water in clean cov ered containers prior to the interruption in water supply, taking into consideration the immediate needs of family members and pets.
Consumers are also advised that although the system will be reopened at 10:00 p.m. consumers in elevated areas may received their supply within two (2) hours after restoration.
The Authority apologizes for any inconveniences caused and thanks consumers for their patience as we work towards the delivery of a safe, adequate and reliable water supply.
