PR – The National Water and Sewerage Authority (NAWASA) advises consumers served by the Mirabeau Water System that the current interruption in supply is due to dam blockage, resulting from heavy rains.
Restoration is anticipated by 2:00p.m. today Friday January 1st, 2021.
Mirabeau Water System serves: Sabb, Byelands, Mirabeau, Mt. Horne, Grenville, Rose Mont, St. Cloud’s, Balthazar, Grand Bras, Forde, Tele scope, St. Mary’s, River Lett, Soubise, Cook Hill, The Villa, Mt. Sealy, Par aclete, Santoo Pee Street, Columba
Consumers are therefore encouraged to utilize their stored supply, taking into consideration the needs of their family and pets.
Please also advised that although the system will be reopened at 2:00p.m.; consumers in elevated areas, may not receive their supply until within two (2) hours after the scheduled restoration period.
The Authority apologises for any inconveniences caused and thanks con sumers for their patience as we work towards the delivery of a safe, ade quate and reliable water supply.
