PR – The National Water and Sewerage Authority (NAWASA) advises consumers in Tivoli, Conference, Dunfermline, Moyah, Pearls and surrounding communities in the parish of St. Andrew that the cur rent interruption in their water supply, is due to two damaged water mains.
Restoration is anticipated by 4:00 p.m. today Tuesday December 15th, 2020.
Consumers are therefore encouraged to utilize their stored supply, taking into consideration the needs of their family and pets.
Please also advised that although the system will be reopened at 4:00 p.m.; consumers in elevated areas, may not receive their supply until within two (2) hours after the scheduled restoration period.
The Authority apologises for any inconveniences caused and thanks consumers for their patience as we work towards the delivery of a safe, adequate and reliable water supply.
