PR – The National Water and Sewerage Authority (NAWASA), advises consumers in Main Street, High Street, Mt. Craven, Mt. Rodney, Snell Hall and surrounding communities in the parish of St. Patrick that in order to facilitate repairs to a damaged water main, they will experience an interruption in supply between the hours of 1:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. today Monday November 16th, 2020 .
Consumers are therefore encouraged to collect and store water in clean, covered containers prior to the scheduled interruption.
Please also be advised that although the system will be reopened at 6:00 p.m.; consumers in elevated areas, may not receive their supply until within two (2) hours after the scheduled restoration period.
The Authority apologises for any inconveninces caused and thanks consumers for their patience as we work towards the delivery of a safe, adequate and reliable water supply.
