(LOOP NEWS CARIBBEAN) – Three members of the Guyana Revenue Authority (GRA) were among four people arrested over the weekend in connection with the 11.5 tonnes of cocaine that was found in a shipping container in Belgium’s Port of Antwerp.

The Customs Anti-Narcotics Unit (CANU) is also searching for local shipper, Marlon Primo of 701 Cummings Lodge, East Coast Demerara (ECD) and 69 Atlantic Ville, East Coast Demerara (ECD).

CANU said Primo operates MA Trading, which is registered at 35 Factory Road, Paradise, ECD.

Anyone knowing Primo’s whereabouts is asked to contact the CANU HQ at 2273507 or 2260431.

The drugs, which has an estimated street value of €900 million, was found in Belgium on October 27 after it left Guyana on September 25.
